Here’s a beautiful, old(-ish) slow-jam from Van Morrison. I closed a set with this a few days ago and have re-listened to it several times since.
This video is amazing–(though that goes almost without saying (I would not post a video that was not amazing)). It’s like a nature program, or a spiritual film, interspersed with shots of Irish lovers, Irish children, and Irish farmers.
Morrison meditates on all this pastoral beauty from his seaside vantage point–singing, playing guitar, and gazing out over the chilly coastal waters of Northern Ireland. (Ach, how my heart aches for the Emerald Isle.)
(This is a great way to let that special someone know you care about them (just in time for Valentine’s Day).)
[Goes well with: James Taylor – Don’t Let Me Be Lonely Tonight]
